Another Notch

Today I added yet another notch in my Disney belt y’all!

I officially became an UnDiscovered Future World Tour Guide! I am now pretty much trained in every aspect of the Guest Relations Hostess at Epcot.  It is a huge accomplishment and I am so excited to actually give my first tour.  Which unfortunately won’t be until March, but I can still add it to my resume! 🙂

On another note, can you believe it’s the last day of January?!  We are already going to be in the second month of 2013!  This year is already flying by.
So here are just a few things I have to look forward to in the month of February:
1. In February my group of 6 fabulous ladies will be having another mini-reunion. 3 of 6 will be here in Florida at the same time.
2.  I’m running (ok walking) my first Disney 5K!
3. I get to meet the fabulous Jessica from Lovely Little Things!  We’re gonna meet here at Disney and I’m gonna show Jessica why I love this place so much.  She’s been to Disney but never Hollywood Studios or Epcot.  So it’ll be fun showing both parks off to her!
4. I’ll be getting my tax return this month! (gotta love tax season for this reason!)
5. Eating healthy and working out is going to get kicked up a notch.
6. Oh and Safe Haven comes out in theatres this month.  I love me some Josh Duhamel.

Hope your last day of January was as fun as mine! 🙂

Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Where Wild Things Roam

Welcome to Part 4 of my Disney Series.  Today I’m taking you into a place that you can have a wild time!
We’re going to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom is the youngest of the 4 Disney Parks.  It’s only been open for a little over 10 years now.  The parks goal is to give you a theme park and a zoo.  It also gives us the opportunity to celebrate all our Disney films dedicated to nature and wild life.  Because if you haven’t noticed, Disney kinda has a thing with animals!
The park is beautiful!  It has lush plants and amazing trees that you might be surprised to find here in central Florida.  In fact, because of all the foliage the park is always 10 degrees hotter than the actual temperature of the day.  So that means, when y’all decide to go to DAK (that’s what Cast Members call the park) make sure you’re extra prepared to deal with the heat.
Now lets get to the goods.
ATTRACTIONS:
There are really only 3 rides that are a MUST.
-Expedition Everest
-Dinosaur
-Kilimanjaro Safari’s
The coolest of the three in my opinion is the Kilimanjaro Safaris.  Because it gives you an up close and personal look at different area that you might find in Africa.  For example, the African Grassland is an area where you will find 2 different species of giraffe and antelope. The theming around the attraction is the idea that you are going on a two week safari.  There have been a ton of times when a giraffe has out his head inside the truck while I’ve been on the ride.  You can also see elephants, lions, rhinos, hippos…you get the picture.

*If you life water rides (which I DO NOT), then another ride that you should make time for is Kali Rive Rapids.  I am not a fan of getting wet on rides so I usually steer clear of this one!
RESTAURANTS:
Yak and Yeti has Asian inspire dishes (let me be honest, it’s Chinese food).  I really like it.  Their Lo-Mein is super yummy!
The Tusker House is the character dining location in DAK.  It’s a buffet with a mix of Indian and African flavors.  Character you can find are Donald, Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy.  I’ve eaten here too and it’s pretty good as well.
The Rainforest Cafe is the same as all the other Rainforest Cafes in the world.

EXTRAS:
This park is full of shows inspired by some of everyones favorite Disney Films.
Finding Nemo: The Musical is a live stage show.  It’s very well done and I really recommend seeing the show because it’s a mix of actors and puppeteering.  Makes for a pretty neat show!
Festival of the Lion King is one of my all time favorites.  It’s had some amazing singers, dancers, and acrobates.  And of course it stars Simba, Timon, and Pumba!  (If you only have time to see one of these two shows, see this one! It’s better than Nemo!)
As I mentioned earlier, Animal Kingdom is at it’s core a zoo that tells a story, as a theme park does.  Not only that but it’s a conservation zoo.  Disney even had their very own conservation fund.  Some of the proceeds made by certain items in the park even go to said conservation fund.  The zoo portion of the park appears at the park entrance and in two other locations.
-The Pangani Forest Exploration Trail where you can find gorillas, hippos, birds, and the Endangered Rehabilitation Center.
Maharajah Jungle Trek where you’ll find tigers, kimono dragons and bats.

*I had to share this picture.  It’s on the Pangani Forest Trail and it’s looking into one of the hippo enclosures.  We were standing there looking at all the fish, when out of the blue we see these two huge figures come into view.  It was two humongous hippos going at it!  They were literally fighting right in front of us.  (They may have been playing but it looked like they were fighting) Anyway, I snapped a couple of pictures.
Animal Kingdom is definitely under-rated.  I’m not sure why, because I for one could spend all day there. If only to look at all the gorgeous flowers and cool animals.
And you’ll come away with some pretty sweet pictures to share with your friends and family!

Next week, I’ll be taking you to my home away from home….The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow! 🙂

Zip. Zero. Nada

Happy Monday friends!

I hope you all had an amazing weekend.

Mine was spent working.  Not much of a weekend and actually I don’t have a day off until Saturday! Blegh.

Now I’ll be honest.  I don’t have anything of substance planned for today.  Hence the title of this post. 🙂

So what you get is a bunch of randoms from my crazy little brain.

1. Sadie has fleas.  I know SO GROSS! Not only is it gross buts its stressful.  I feel so bad for my poor little kitty.  I know she’s miserable but I’ve done everything I should be to get ride of them.  I’ve bought shampoo, a flea colar, carpet powder (just in case there are fleas in the carpet, which would be even worse!), and some stuff that is similar to Advantage.  Now I haven’t given her everything because I don’t want to over medicate her, but I did give her a bath on Saturday night.  Needless to say, Sadie was not amused.

2. I’m currently training for a new tour at Epcot! It’s called the UnDiscovered Future World Tour.  Yesterday was Day 1 and training goes through Thursday.  I’ve heard this is one of the best weeks you can have as an Epcot Guest Relations Hostess.  So it should be a super fun work week!

3. I watched the SAG awards last night and was very pleased with the winners!  Lets just hope I can say the same in a few weeks for the Oscars.

4.  I’m still doing really well with the whole eating healthy thing.  Expect a another healthy recipe I found on Pinterest later this week!  But I’m really struggling with the working out part still.  womp womp.

5.  I saw Gangster Squad this weekend and it was really good! It was also further proof that I was born in the wrong era.

6.  I’m currently totally obsessed with the game Flow on my IPhone.  Seriously it’s addicting.  Well see how long the addiction lasts before I delete it from my phone.

7.  I’m going home for my 25TH BIRTHDAY the third week in March!  BAH, 25! Sounds so old.

8.  I’m really excited to see some of my best friends coming up in February.  It’s going to be fabulous!

9.  I am in need of new tops.  Mine are old and out dated and I need (I guess the appropriate word is actually WANT) new clothes!

10.  I have some VERY exciting news to share with you all.  But I have to wait a week to share it!

Well that’s all I’ve got for today.
I have to be at work really early this morning.
Come back tomorrow for part 3 of my Disney Series! We’ll be heading to a place where you can have pretty wild time! 🙂

Oh wait one last thing…..

Disposable Diaries

Two of my all time favorite bloggers Meg from Sweetly Complicated and Jessica from Lovely Little Things, came together and created a link up called Disposable Diaries.

Basically what they wanted was for us to buy an old fashion disposable camera (I can’t believe I just called a disposable camera “old-fashion) and take it around for a week and take pictures.  Straight up middle school/high school style.

I thought this sounded like a phenominal idea!  We live in an instant world.  Where everything can be done in seconds.  Especially when it comes to taking photographs.  I can remember using a disposable camera and later a film camera (that my amazing Dad purchased for me) and having to wait hours and sometimes days for the pictures to get developed.  So it was fun going back to that time!
Here are a few things I encountered as I ran around taking all 27 of the pictures allowed by my camera.
1. It was kinda nerve wrecking using the camera!  I literally had one chance and one chance only to get the shot just right.  One of my friends said he left so much pressure to get it just right!
2. It was hard to remember to pull the camera out and actually use it, since I had my IPhone in my hand or in my pocket.
3.  The view finder was so tiny!  And I looked pretty silly pulling it out and snapping pictures.  My friend Jordan even took a picture of me taking a picture with the camera.
(The caption on Instagram for this photo was as follows:  “Hey @kathleennorris 1997 called and they need their disposable camera back #bff #ecgrbff #kodakmoment”)
So without further ado here are some of the great quality photos I snapped with my “old-fashion camera”! : )

My view as I walk into work everyday.  Not too shabby.
I used to take pictures like this in middle school. So I felt it only appropriate to recreate it.
With my best friend of almost 25 years!  And my eyes are closed. Nice.
Had snap a pic of my kitten.  She actually looks semi-creepy.
And the picture is off center.
Told you that view finder was small!
Girls photo from a day at Epcot.
Group shoot with my friend Jordan and her Mama!`

A lot of the pictures I took were 1. off center, 2. blurry, and 3. really bright.

I have to say though, it was fun taking a whole week to remember what it was like before life was so instant.  When we couldn’t re-take a picture if it was blurry, if our eyes were closed, or if we thought we just looked awkward.

So thank you Jessica and Meg for coming up with such a unique and fun idea! 🙂

I’m Obsessed

With my cat.
It’s true.  I found that out last night.  And thus the need for this post.
I had a whole other post all typed up and ready to go until I got home work and I thought my heart was gonna come out of my butt!
Let me explain.
I was driving home from work (I closed last night so this was around 11:20pm.  I drove in all happy because it’s my Friday and checked the mail.  Then as I was driving around the corner and getting closer to my apartment I saw people coming down the stairs and looking in bushes.  I also saw my roommate looking up and down the corridor.
My other roommate had texted me earlier and said he was going to have some people over.
SO….when I saw all these people looking around outside the apartment, I immediately thought that someone had left the front door open and Sadie had run out and was lost somewhere in the bushes!
Y’all I started FREAKING OUT!  Like seriously freaking out.
I even started crying!
As I went to park I told myself to calm down and just see what happens when I get there.
I then pictured myself yelling and screaming at my roommates like a crazy person.  It would have been very dramatic and probably Lifetime TV worthy.
I jumped out of my car and had to stop myself from running to my apartment.  I just walked very very quickly instead.  I threw the door open and prepared to be bombarded with the terrible news when……
there she was.
Just sitting there.  Looking at me.
You have no idea 1. how dumb I felt and 2. how relieved and excited I was.
I grabbed and pretty much squeezed the life out my poor kitten.
And that my friends is when I realized how obsessed I am with her and that if ANYTHING were to happen to her I would be devastated.
So now I’m going to embrace my obsession and share some fun cat related items via Pinterest! 🙂
Enjoy

Angry Cat is flippin hilarious.  I couldn’t decide which ones to use!
Yep, cat obsessed and proud of it.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios: The Hollywood That Never Was and Always Will Be

For part 3 of my Basics of Disney Series, I’m taking everyone back to old Hollywood! That’s right!  We’re going to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.Basics of Disney- Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios has a special place in my heart because I’ve worked there! In the summer of 2009 I worked as an Attractions hostess at the Voyage of the Little Mermaid/Playhouse Disney Live on Stage shows.Basically, I was that annoying person who yells at you to move all the way down to the end of the row, even though everyone wants to stop right in the middle of said row because that’s where the best view of the show is.  Hollywood Studios is currently undergoing a MASSIVE refurbishment.  I originally wrote this post in 2013 and am going through and updating everything for the present day, 2016.  A lot has changed in the last 3 years and there is still a ton of change coming.  But this post is up to date as of 4/19/2016! 🙂

So knowing that….here’s a basic breakdown of Hollywood Studios:

ATTRACTIONS:Hollywood Studios has the best thrill ride attractions.  So this is definitely the park for you if you’re a fan of thrill rides.  But they have a mix of rides and shows.
So here are the worth while rides: The Hollywood Tower of TerrorRockin Roll Roller Coaster: Starring AerosmithStar Tours Toy Story Midway ManiaThe Great Movie Ride

Worth while shows:The Indian Jones Stunt Show Spectacular Beauty and the BeastVoyage of the Little Mermaid (obviously)

RESTAURANTS:
Like Magic Kingdom there aren’t too many restaurants at Hollywood Studios.
But what they do have is really good!
50s Prime Time Cafe – Great fun! All the waiters treat you like you’re eating in your Mom’s kitchen in the 1950s.  Once when I ate there, our waiter made me go stand in the corner because he had to tell me three times to get my elbows off the table.  See….fun!
The Hollywood Brown Derby – Takes you back to old Hollywood.  It’s apparently an exact replica of the Hollywood Brown Derby in LA.

Mama Melrose Restaurant Italiano – It’s Italian and its good. Not much else to say about this one.
Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre – This one is fun because you sit in convertible cars and watch the trailers to cheesy sci-fi movies, like you’re at drive inn movie theatre.
EXTRAS:
The Citizens of Hollywood:  You can find them strolling around Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd.  They are pretty hilarious and definitely worth having an interaction with, when you see them!

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration: I’ve never personally seen this but I’ve heard good things.  Especially if your little princess is totally obsessed with Frozen.

FANTASMIC – This is their night time fireworks show.  It’s part live stage show and part fireworks show.  It’s probably one of the best shows on property.  But you do have to get there about 45 minutes before show time to get an ideal seat.  Maybe even earlier than that.  But trust me, it’s worth it!
Well friends those are the highlights of Hollywood Studios.
If you at least hit everything I mentioned here you come out of your day at this park looking like this…..

I promise!  Till next time.PS. Here are Parts 1 & 2, if you missed them! 🙂

Another Pinterest Success Story

The other day I was perusing Pinterest, per usual. And I stumbled on a recipe that I thought looked super easy and yummy.

Two criteria I am a big fan of, easy and yummy.

So today I’m sharing said recipe with you lovelies!

Here is where I found the original recipe for:

Spinach and Mushroom Quiche

Now the link on Pinterest takes you to a website that is dedicated to mushrooms.
And instead of giving you all the ingredients by how many cups you of each item you need, it gives you them in ounces.
Since I am no Rachel Ray, I had to find a converter (Thank you Google) to show me how many ounces are in a cup.
(Don’t judge, Math was NOT my favorite subject)
I also doubled the amount of mushrooms and spinach I used.  Trust me I needed too.

So here is how I interpreted the instructions.

Ingredients:

1 TBSP olive oil
2 cups mushrooms
2 cups spinach
6 eggs
1/2 cup of feta cheese (I used reduced fat)
salt and pepper (to taste)
1 cup of shredded cheese (I used Colby/Monterey Jack)

I also grabbed a Whole Wheat pie crust to make it a tad healthier.
And its organic only because that was all my grocery store had.

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Using a skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the mushrooms and spinach until the mushrooms are a golden brown and the spinach has “wilted” or I guess “melted” is a better word.

3. While the mushrooms and spinach are doing their thang, whisk the eggs and the feta cheese together.

4. After the mushrooms and spinach are done spread them on the bottom of the pie crust and pour the egg mix over the top.

5. Throw it in the oven for 30 minutes.  Then sprinkle the cheese of choice over the top and throw it back in the oven for another 10 minutes.

6. ENJOY.

And here is my finished product!

You could probably make it even yummier by adding more veggies or some type of meat, like turkey sausage or something.

Make it your own and I’m sure it’ll taste STUPENDOUS!

Don’t you just love that word?!
I know I do.

Happy Monday!

Friday is HERE!

Hello Friday!
It is so good to see you again.
Yesterday was super productive and fun!  My body naturally woke me up at around 6:30 and for the life of me I could not get back to sleep.  So I got up, grabbed a cup of coffee and caught on my ABC shows that I had missed.  It was delightful!
The rest of the day consisted of working out (woo hoo!), a trip to Target, Marshalls and Publix, cleaning, and cooking! 🙂
Yep, yesterday ROCKED!
And now onto sharing my top 5 from the week with the super stylish Lauren at From My Grey Desk.

Photobucket

Here they are!

1. Seeing Leo at the Golden Globes was for sure a highlight.  I mean look at him!

2. I tried another hair style by Kate from The Small Things Blog.  And it turned out “Perfectly Pretty” which is the name of this lovely do!
Seriously, she makes doing hair so easy!

3. This is all I bought from Target this week.  Which is shocking considering what I came out with last week! 🙂  But a trip to Target is ALWAYS going to be a highlight of my week!

4. I trained another new Guest Relations Cast Member!  And she’s from Texas too.  Y’all training is just like teaching and I’m so glad I’m getting the opportunity to “teach” new Cast Members!

5. This last thing gets a picture all on its own!
Y’all I officially registered for runDisney’s Mickey and Minnie Royal Family 5K!
Now I know its just a 5K and but I’m really excited.  This is just another thing that will help motivate me to actually work out.
And it’s supposed to be a ton of fun!  I mean who wouldn’t want to run a race where you get to meet Disney Characters along the way?!

Well friends I hope you have a stupendous weekend! 🙂

Motivation

One of my goals for 2013 is to work out at least twice a week.
I figured that was a good number to start with and as I got more and more into working out I would do it more than just twice a week.  Well here we are in the second full week of January and I’m seriously lacking in motivation.
The days that I have worked out, I’ve felt great!  I’ve felt energized and refreshed.  So why isn’t that providing me with the right motivation?  Why is that feeling not motivating me to want to work out?At this point I don’t really have a good answer.  Maybe it’s because I’m just running on a treadmill, I’ve haven’t used weights or any other machines.  Heck I haven’t even been going to an honest to goodness gym.  I’ve just been using my apartment complexes gym, which is seriously lacking in a good variety of workout equipment.
Now I’ll be honest, I’m actually pretty happy with the way I look.  I would just like to….tighten.It’s one of these, “We don’t want to loose weight, we just want you to be healthy.”(Yes I’m making a reference to this scene in Knocked Up because its hilarious)And honestly thats really all I want.  I want to tighten up in some places and start eating healthier. It just a lot harder then I thought it would be.But I am going to make it happen.  This is one goal that I really want to reach.  I’ve been looking to my best friend Suzanne for help! Because she has kicked some serious booty in the tighten and get healthy department!  You can follow her journey via her blog, Sparkleista. She’s been great at providing me some great motivation.  (It would be easier if she was here in person, which she will be in a few weeks)  But she’s been sending me positive quotes, we’ve been talking, and of course I’ve been reading her blog!
And of course I’ve been scouring Pinterest for some good motivation.
Here’s what I’ve found.

(Put $1 in a jar every time you work out.  Then set a goal for yourself, say $100.  When you reach your goal, buy yourself something pretty! Brilliant Idea!)

Now hopefully this motivation sticks with me! I’m trying my very best to tighten and get healthy!
Wish me luck!
Oh and I’m linking up with Michelle from The Vintage Apple for Oh, How Pinteresting! 🙂

The Magic Kingdom: Where Fantasy Reigns

Hello friends! And welcome to part two of my Disney Basics Series:

Today I’m going to give you a run down of the Magic Kingdom.  The musts sees, the restaurants, the characters, and the shows!
I LOVE the Magic Kingdom.  I think it’s because it’s just so wonderfully DISNEY!  Most of the attractions are replicas of attractions from Disneyland, which was Walt’s little brain child.  When you’re in the Magic Kingdom it’s almost as if Walt could be right there with you walking down Main Street USA.  And of course there’s Cinderella’s Castle, who doesn’t love castles! 🙂

Now here’s where I’m gonna break things down for you.
ATTRACTIONS:
Here are the must see Disney attractions.  The ones you can’t miss and are truly DISNEY!Tomorrowland is the future.  Well it’s the future Walt Disney predicted.-Space Mountain-Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor-Carousel of ProgressFantasyland takes you to some of our favorite Disney movies.  -Peter Pans Flight-It’s a Small World-Under the Sea: Voyage of the Little Mermaid-Enchanted Tales with Belle-Seven Dwarfs Mine Train-Mickey PhilarMagic (My personal favorite!)-DumboLiberty Square celebrates America! -Hall of Presidents-The Haunted MansionFrontierland takes you to the old West.-Splash Mountain-Big Thunder MountainAdventureland reminds you that adventure is out there!-Pirates of the Caribbean-The Jungle Cruise-Enchanted Tiki Room

RESTAURANTS:
Ok now it’s time to fill you in on something we all love to do.Eat!
There aren’t too many sit down restaurants in the Magic Kingdom.  We at Disney call them, Table Service restaurants because of our Disney Dining Plan.  The Disney Dining Plan is a fantastic option is you plan to stay in one of out Disney Resorts.  And it is based on the nights of your stay. We have two plans: The Basic and Deluxe Plans. The Basic Plan includes: 1 Quick Service meal, 1 Table Service meal, and a snack.  You can use them any time of day. For example: if you are going to be staying for 5 nights, you would get 5 Quick Service, 5 Table Service, and 5 Snacks per person staying in your room.
Deluxe Plan includes: 3 Table Service Meals per day and 1 snack.  The only way I would suggest this plan is if you plan to each at the restaurants that are considered “Signature Dining Location” as these restaurants take 2 Table Services meals from your plan. There are a few other options as far as Dining Plans go but the ones I mentioned are the most popular.  You can learn more about the plans on the Disney website.
Now here are the Restaurants you can find at the Magic Kingdom:
Cinderella’s Royal Table:  Is a character dining location featuring our Disney Princesses.  Best part is you are actually eating in Cinderella’s Castle!  Woo HOO! Now this is the most popular restaurant on Disney property and I’m promise I’m not lying when I say that it books 6 months in advance.  So if you want to eat here book it EARLY!
The Crystal Palace: Is our other character dining location featuring Winnie the Pooh and Friends.  It’s a buffet and is pretty good.  I’ve eaten there a few times and had no complaints at all!
Tony’s Town Square:  This one is themed after the movie Lady and the Tramp.  It’s serves Italian food and is supposed to be the Tony’s from the movie.
The Plaza Restaurant: Serves burgers, sandwiches, and salads.  The restaurant is themed after the rest of Main Street USA.  A picture perfect early 20th century small town!
Liberty Tree Tavern: Takes you back to colonial America with American favorites!  Lunch has one of the best burgers in the US (just ask The Food Network) and dinner serves an all you care to eat, family style Thanksgiving dinner.
Be Our Guest: This is Disney newest restuarant.  It’s themed after the movie Beauty and the Beast.  And boy did our Disney Imagineers do a phenomenal job with the details! It seriously feels like you are in the movie with Belle and the Beast! At lunch it’s a quick service, meaning you can just walk up and at dinner it’s a table service.
Now if you’re coming to Disney anytime soon, I would recommend just planning to have lunch here. Because they are currently booked through June.
*There are a TON of quick services restaurants that have many different options.  If you’re interested in learning more about them, just let me know! 🙂Now that you know where to eat, lets talk about some famous people you might see!

DISNEY CHARACTERS:
I’m a huge fan of meeting the characters from my favorite Disney movies!  Especially the Disney Princesses.  There’s just something about meeting Disney Characters that takes you back to your childhood.  Trust me, you will giggle and turn into your 6 year old self when you’re face to face with your favorite! Here’s who you can meet:Mickey Mouse: Obviously! He’s the main cheese….. the big man! 🙂
Donald, Goofy, Minnie, and Daisy: They’re in the new Storybook Circus.
The Disney Princesses:  Cinderella, Princess Aurora, Belle, Ariel, Snow White, Merida, Tiana, Rapunzal, and everyone’s favorite Frozen sisters. All found in various locations throughout the park.Woody and Jesse: Frontierland
Buzz Lightyear: Tomorrowland
Aladdin, Jasmine and sometimes the Genie: Adventureland
And you never know who else! 🙂SHOWS and EXTRAS:Last but certainly not least is the things in between riding rides, meeting characters, and eating!// Festival of Fantasy parade happens everyday at 3:00pm.// The Main Street Electrical Parade, you can catch this every night, sometimes twice a night.// The Trolley Show takes place each hour in the morning.  They don’t have afternoon shows.  It’s a seasonal show, which means the show will change with the seasons.// Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party, is a mini parade that happens in the afternoon.  This too is put on multiple times each day.// Celebrate the Magic:  The coolest thing we have on property!  It’s a projection show that happens at night on Cinderella’s Castle.  // WISHES: Is our fireworks show that takes place every night! If you don’t shed at least one tear during this show, then you have no feelings.  It’s pretty magical!
Now that you know what the Magic Kingdom has to offer I will tell you that you’re probably going to need 2 days to see everything.
I’ll also tell you that the Magic Kingdom is the busiest of the 4 parks.  Thankfully Disney has created a way to alleviate some of the wait times in out parts.  That’s with Disney’s FastPass option.  FastPasses can now be reserved up to 30 days before your trip.  That’s if you’ve decided to be a guest in one of the Disney hotels.  If you are not staying in a Disney hotel, you can still reserve your FastPasses in advance once you have purchased your tickets.
I HIGHLY recommend you download the My Disney Experience App to your phone a few days (if not weeks/months) before your trip.  Using this app you can do just about anything.  Reserve your FastPasses, make dining reservations, check ride and character meet and greet wait times, and even have access to maps of the park right on your phone.
It will be one of your most valuable resources while your in the parks!  I promise! 🙂

So if you’re bringing small children prepare them to wait in line, prepare them for the crowds, and prepare them to have the time of their lives!

(If you have any Disney related questions please feel free to e-mail me! I will be happy to give you some tips and stuff for making your trip a little easier!  You can find my email address in the Contact Me tab!)
